11/13/2023 0 Comments Have a nice death cairn![]() ![]() The scythe has the most variability in terms of the attacks you can do with it, you can press the button multiple times without holding a direction for your basic attack sequence, hold it down and press the button for a single utility based attack (defaults to an attack that hits both from the front and from behind), Hold the button and you'll do an upward attack that can act as your only jump, or as a second jump if you haven't used it since leaving the ground, if you're jumping and holding the button multiple times (except for Diss's Scythe) will give you an air basic attack sequence, and if you're jumping and holding the button you'll do a dive attack directly to the ground below you. Both the scythe and some cloak weapons have the ability to change the attack you use based on the direction you hold the left analog stick, and all weapons have a different attack while in the air. You might think this is a redundant section considering I've already covered weapons, but there's more to attacking than just pressing buttons. Spells cost mana to use and can also potentially have a cooldown and layered weapons only have a cooldown. There are two different types of weapons that you can pick up, cloak weapons and spell (book weapons). You can get weapons periodically throughout your games, either by randomly spawning inside a crystal (called a Cairn) or by going to a Weapon floor that is guaranteed to spawn at least 1 weapon on that floor. You can also equip up to 2 weapons at a time which act as your second and third attack buttons. From what I know, you can increase your chances of getting an Animas depending on which room you're in within your match (the Vitam-Mana Department, the Vault, and the Dangerous Floor are the ones I've found to be most likely to give you one Animas per kill/Arena).īy default you only have the Scythe to attack, and you always have the Scythe or one of its upgrades as your basic attack. The only ways to get Animas are through chance, either by killing enemies or as a reward from an Arena. ![]() (It seems that if you have a Golden Animas you will always use it before any other normal) You can also get a Gold Animas that will heal you in a pure way in addition to healing wounds. As far as I know, it heals up to a base 20HP in Wounds, which can be increased through Curses. When you use an Animas it will heal some of your Wounds (not pure healing). You start with 0 Animas and can have up to 3 at a time. This means that sometimes you want to have a lot of mana because you have 2 spells or 1 very expensive spell, or you may not care about mana at all since you don't have any spells. You don't use mana normally and only use mana through Spells you can find in your games. You start with 50 MP, which can be increased throughout your game through curses or max MP increase items. As far as I know, the percentage of damage you take that turns into wounds varies depending on the enemy and/or the attack, so some attacks will give you a lot of wounds, but others won't give you a lot of wounds at all and essentially just do pure damage. ![]() You start with 65 HP, which can be increased throughout your game through curses or max HP increase items.Įvery time you take damage, a portion of the damage you take is converted to recoverable gray health called "Wounds" and the rest of the damage is "unrecoverable" health that can only be healed through "Pure Heals". ![]()
